What does it
mean to be filled with the Spirit? It means we have let the Spirit in our hearts and lives through his leading. To be filled by the Spirit means to give the Holy Spirit control over our lives.What happens when one is led by the Spirit? Church and family life are affected (Ephesians 5), the fruit of the Spirit is evident in our lives (Gal 5:21-22), we become bold witnesses (Acts 4:31,33) and we become generous to those in need (Acts 4:32). So how can we be filled with the Holy Spirit?
